Bildtstar is a hard rock band in the north of Friesland (het Bildt) founded in 2019. The band consists of five
members, Simon Wiegersma (the singer), Martin Postuma (guitarist), Jesse Pander (guitarist), Colin Boonstra (Bass
Guitarist) and Holmer Schoon (Drummer). The music consists of hard rock from the 80s combined with their own
music style. As the band itself says: raw old school, fast and trashy, with that glimmering hint of shiny class off
rock and roll. The men have 1 dream; become famous. Every Thursday evening they meet to rehearse their
written music in a studio. When writing new songs, many ideas arise, because everyone has their own music style.
It starts with recording a tune by humming at work, then they work it out on the instruments at home and text the
music they have created. This creates a new song.
